Gravatt Consulting Leadership
John P. Augustine, P.L.S., P.P.
Mr. Augustine is President of the firm and is charged with directing daily operations, business development and providing oversight and review of all Land Surveying Services. With over 40 years of responsible experience within the survey field, he has successfully completed thousands of projects. He is proficient at Boundary, Topographic, and A.L.T.A. Surveys as well as commercial, industrial and residential construction surveys and stakeout using numerous types of conventional and GPS equipment. He is a well-rounded professional with proficiency and expertise in Carlson, AutoCAD and Terramodel software, which he uses to calculate volumes, create engineering base mapping, Final Plats, A.L.T.A. and Survey Maps. He is a New Jersey Licensed Land Surveyor and Planner. Accordingly, he maintains diligent oversight of projects and works directly with the engineering department, he is well equipped to understand and meet the needs of our expanding and diverse client base.
Bruce A. Jacobs, P.E., P.P., C.M.E.
Mr. Jacobs is the Director of Engineering and is responsible for business development, engineering oversight and management of all design and workflow within the Gravatt Consulting Group civil engineering department. He has over 34 years of project management, design and regulatory compliance experience consisting of a wide range of private and public sector projects. He has been directly involved in the design, planning, permitting and inspection of residential, commercial, industrial and public entity projects. During his tenure, Mr. Jacobs has developed a well-earned reputation among the clients he serves as a proponent of efficient design, with a constant emphasis placed on value engineering during the early stages of project planning and design. Mr. Jacobs has significant regulatory compliance experience, as is illustrated by hundreds of successfully obtained development permits for a wide range of Private Sector, County and Municipal projects. Additionally, he has a variety of construction management and oversight experience. He is a Certified Municipal Engineer and a New Jersey Licensed Engineer and Planner. He currently serves as the Lacey Township Planning Board Engineer.
